Fury Sign Three Players

Fayetteville, NC., – The Fayetteville Fury recently added three players to its rosters as both the men’s and women’s teams gear up for home openers on January 9th.

Nate Brady is a former All-Conference, All-State, and All-Region player for Wake Christian Academy. He was also the top scorer at the Generation Adidas International at Real Madrid in Spain. Brady also played professionally for the reserve team of Stade Briochin in France where he had 25 goals and 10 assists.

Fernando Castellanos is a former member of the CASL’s Chelsea U-18 Team. Castellanos then went onto play at Tyler Junior College in Tyler, TX where he was a First- Team All American in 2013. He totaled 39 points during his two years at Tyler. Castellanos then transferred to Creighton University where he tallied 5 points.

Sam Lister is a former All Conference 1st Team player from Snow Junior College. Sam was the Top goal scorer for Snow and was also the athlete of the year. Sam then transferred to Shaw University where he was the captain of the team for two years. Lister then went on to play Semi- pro soccer overseas for Bedale AFC, Northallerton Town Academy, Richmond Town FC, and Stokesley FC.

Fury Head Coach Justin Terranova added, “It is great to see our roster continue to build. Fernando is a very technical player and will be able to create opportunities for us. Nate can strike a ball very well and will be dangerous on set plays. Sam is a big presence and will dominate our defense with his experience. All three players are wonderful additions to our growing roster!”

The Fayetteville Fury was officially announced on June 7, 2021, as the second franchise in the National Indoor Soccer League. The team will host 12 regular season home games this winter at the Crown Center. Each game-night will feature a Men’s and Women’s Doubleheader.
