Ann Marie quickly became a pivotal figure in local soccer, coaching her nieces and later contributing her expertise to NZone Sports, where she honed her skills under the guidance of our current General Manager. Her coaching credentials are as impressive as her background, with certifications from NFHS, U.S. Soccer Grassroots, First Aid, and CPR, highlighting her dedication to safety, excellence, and the holistic development of young athletes.
In 2023, Ann Marie took her passion for coaching to Grays Creek High School, where she led the Girls Junior Varsity team, showcasing her ability to inspire, lead, and develop the potential within each player. Following high school, he pursued higher education at Georgia Military College. There, his passion for sports persisted as he took to the field with the soccer team and raced with the cross country team.

With two successful seasons coaching at St. Andrew’s University, he has proven his coaching prowess by mentoring the goalkeeper who was named the tournament's top goalkeeper in the 2023 season for the AAC in NAIA. His extensive background includes 12 years of competitive play in the US collegiate system and in Venezuela, where he has achieved numerous accolades:

His journey began in the nurturing grounds of Sport Boys in Peru, where the foundation of his passion for football was laid. His skills and dedication soon elevated him to the reserves of Atlante in Mexico's Primera A, followed by a stint with the Pumas reserves, where he continued to hone his craft.

Transitioning from player to mentor, Rodrigo has been shaping the future of football in North Carolina. He has imparted his knowledge and experience as a coach for Triángulo United and Hornet Futsal, and as an assistant coach for Tobacco RD in the USL2.
Rodrigo's pedigree in football is unparalleled, with his grandfather, Jorge “El Comanche” Labarthe, presiding over Sport Boys in Peru's top division. His uncle, Ernesto “El Chino” Labarthe, has graced the professional fields in Peru, Chile, and Mexico, including representing Peru in the 1978 World Cup. Continuing the family tradition, his cousin, Gianfranco “El Chinito” Labarthe, has left his mark as a professional player in England, Greece, and Peru, notably achieving national championship glory with Universitario de Deportes and competing in the prestigious Copa Libertadores.
