Fayetteville Fury Hosts Inaugural "Education Day Game" for Local Students

Fayetteville, NC – Fayetteville Fury is proud to announce its first-ever Education Day Game, set to take place on April 24th, 2024, at 10:00 AM against the Albany Aces at the Crown Coliseum. This event offers a unique opportunity for local educators to bring their students to an engaging and educational field trip that combines the excitement of professional soccer with learning experiences.

An Educational Experience Like No Other

Designed specifically for K-8 students, the Education Day Game aims to extend learning beyond the classroom walls, providing an interactive educational experience that ties into the curriculum. The day's activities are crafted to enrich students' understanding of subjects such as science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), all through the lens of soccer.

What the Day Entails

• STEM-Centric Learning: Students will receive grade-appropriate workbooks that relate soccer to STEM concepts, enhancing their learning experience and making education both fun and interactive.
• Professional Soccer Matches: Witness the thrill of a live Fayetteville Fury soccer game, showcasing teamwork, strategy, and athleticism for both our Women and Men teams.
• Special Educational Content: The event will feature educational presentations and activities during breaks and halftime, focusing on health, fitness, and the importance of sportsmanship.

Food and Beverage

Lunch is not included; however, concessions will be available for purchase. Schools are encouraged to coordinate with their cafeterias for packed lunches or students may bring their own.
