Fayetteville Fury Announces New Home at D.T. Carter Stadium at E.E. Smith High School and Strategic Partnership

Fayetteville, NC (September 5, 2023) – The Fayetteville Fury, a professional soccer team, is excited to announce its new home at D.T. Carter Stadium at E.E. Smith High School. The Fury’s first home game at the stadium will be on Sunday, September 10th at 4 PM against Soda City FC.

In addition to the new home venue, the Fury is also thrilled to announce a strategic partnership with E.E. Smith High School. This partnership goes above and beyond soccer, and will include the following:

  • Internships for students looking to expand their knowledge in graphic design, strength and conditioning, sports management, gameday operations, athletic training, broadcasting, sports announcing, and many other areas that are involved with soccer.
  • Collaboration with the E.E. Smith athletics department to enhance their programs by including Fury's professional athletes' regiments for the student-athletes at the school.

Smith is a pillar of the Fayetteville community, and we are honored to be a part of their rich history and tradition. We are also excited to offer internship opportunities to their students and to work with their athletics department to enhance their programs. This partnership is a win-win for both organizations and the Fayetteville community.”
